Within Hawaii Volcanoes National Park on the Big Island of Hawaii lies the Volcano House Hotel. Located 28 miles from Hilo International Airport, Volcano House is on the edge of Kilauea Crater, one of the most active volcanoes in the world. Guests are welcomed to this old-style country lodge by a warm stone fireplace in the lobby which has burned for more than 125 years.
