Upon check-in, guests are greeted with keepsake leis, chilled face towels and Hawaiian gift baskets. The resort's two golf courses create a stunning natural setting. An activity center rents recreational gear, and a 46-foot catamaran sails snorkelers and scuba divers to the crystal-clear waters off Molokini Island. Contemporary island cuisine using locally grown ingredients is served at the beautiful Prince Court Restaurant, while Hakone offers a Tokyo-style sushi bar and Japanese fare with a tropical twist.<br><br><b>Guestrooms.</b>All 310 guestrooms of this single-story resort angle off the ocean and provide at least partial sea views. All guestrooms are air conditioned and the outer lanai doors open to breezes that stream off the western slopes of Haleakala volcano. The island-style accommodations feature mini fridges, coffee served daily, cable television and dial-up Internet access.<br><br><b>Expert Tip. </b> Makena Beach is so alluring, it is has been nicknamed "Marry Me Beach."
