The Royal Kuhio is located in downtown Waikiki within walking distance from the beach. Tourist attractions nearby include the Iolani Palace (restored home of the last monarchs of Hawaii), the state capitol, and the Hawaii Maritime Center. The Aloha Tower Marketplace, a half-mile away, offers shoppers art, clothing and Hawaiian crafts, in addition to numerous restaurants and live entertainment in a central atrium. For a day at the beach, Waikiki Beach is just a half-mile away. Pearl Harbor and the volcanic crater, Diamond Head, are a mile away. <br> This 39-story, non-smoking high-rise features on-site amenities such as an outdoor pool and sauna on the seventh floor, table tennis, shuffleboard, putting green, badminton, ping pong and a children's play area.
